Sherwood Bible Church first started in 1920 on 2814 Troost Avenue under the name of Central Bible Hall. After some time, the church underwent a name change to Central Bible Church. After much prayer and consideration, Central decided that the Lord was leading Central to a new location, North of the river. On March 4, 1984, Sherwood Bible Church met for the first time at the 4900 N Norton property. The past 100+ years have been full of God's goodness and graciousness to Sherwood.
