Welcome home! Covenant began with a pastor and a dream in 1979. The fire that was started by B. Michael Watson continued to burn, and the church grew. When Dr. Hays McKay, Jr. was appointed to Covenant in 1998, however, the church had unprecedented growth, almost like a wildfire. Under Hays’ leadership, a contemporary service was launched (1999), a Christian Life Center was built (2004), and the church started worshipping in a new Sanctuary in 2009. In 2018, Covenant was listed as the 18th fasting growing church in United Methodism, and in 2019, Covenant was 9th on that list. On May 8, 2023, C
