Passion Church is part of the Non-denominational and independent family of churches in The American Church Story. 116 congregations of the Non-denominational and independent family gather across Alabama — 6,149 across the United States on The Church Map.

Non-denominational congregations widened the front door of the American church, taking seriously the person who walks in knowing nothing and belonging to no tradition. Their readiness to work with anyone who preaches Christ has quietly done more for cooperation between traditions than most formal agreements ever did.
