We exist to embrace the drifting, the wounded, and the lonely, into the refuge and home of abundant life in the Church.
Saint Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic parish, formerly named Spirit of Peace, began in 1982 and rented space from Westview Presbyterian church in Longmont, often called the “chocolate chip church” because of the round shape of the building.

From the Catholic Church the whole body received the canon of Scripture, the creeds still recited every Sunday in traditions that never look to Rome, and monasteries that kept learning and Scripture alive through a thousand unlit years. Its parishes remain the largest network of schools, hospitals, and shelters in America, most of them serving people who will never attend a Mass.
