The church continues to function with these core beliefs. When the church was nearly closed 12 years ago, the people rose up, the community came together and said a collective "no." That dedication and determination brought our little country church back from the brink and now the Presbyterian governing bodies frequently use North Turner as an example of what can happen when people work together.
