Orthodoxy has carried the worship of the ancient church essentially unbroken since the first centuries, and it has never let the rest of us settle for a gospel that only forgives — it insists God intends to make his people like himself. Its liturgy, its icons, and its theology of the Trinity are wells the whole church keeps returning to.
