Providence Church is part of the Reformed (Continental) family of churches in The American Church Story. 15 congregations of the Reformed (Continental) family gather across Florida — 1,012 across the United States on The Church Map.
The Continental Reformed churches gave the church some of its most comforting teaching — the Heidelberg Catechism begins by asking what your only comfort in life and in death is, and answers that you are not your own — along with a vision of every ordinary square inch of life as belonging to God. Their schools and colleges have taught far beyond their own numbers.
