Presbyterian Church of the Covenant is part of the Presbyterian family of churches in The American Church Story. 524 congregations of the Presbyterian family gather across Florida — 11,641 across the United States on The Church Map.

Presbyterians gave American Christianity much of its backbone: seminaries, catechisms, and shared government by elders rather than by one man, a habit that shaped the country's civic life as much as its churches. They have been among the most persistent builders of colleges, hospitals, and mission agencies this nation has.
