Christ Church Episcopal is part of the Anglican and Episcopal family of churches in The American Church Story. 21 congregations of the Anglican and Episcopal family gather across Hawaii — 6,378 across the United States on The Church Map.

Anglicans gave the English-speaking church the words it still prays in: the Book of Common Prayer, and a translation of Scripture that shaped four centuries of worship, writing, and speech. Holding evangelical, catholic, and liberal convictions inside one communion has made them a long school of patience for every tradition that came after.
