Southwind Wesleyan's story is one of triumph out of tragedy. Several years ago, our church, then called Main Street Wesleyan Church, was located on the west end of Main Street. It was a beautiful building, a testament of the faith and dedication of the early members. However, straight-line winds destroyed that building in April of 2006. Thankfully, we owned a fellowship building down over the hill from the old church that became our temporary home for four years.
