Charter Oak Church was founded by Bob Richards in 1961. The church started with door-to-door ministry, with Pastor Bob discipling his neighbors of the Charter Oak neighborhood and holding service at his home. After two years, the church had grown substantially and the first building of Charter Oak Church, Mountain View, was established. The next forty years rooted the church and saw much expansion and growth leading up to August of 2005 and the breaking ground on a new building: our Frye Farm property.
