We, the blood bought souls of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, exist to grow in our knowledge of Jesus by feeding on His Word and Sacraments, and according to Jesus’ command we will do all we can to witness about Him to everyone in our community and beyond.
St. John’s is a humble group of sinners washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and declared to be saints of God. It’s a family of believers struggling under the cross of Jesus toward the crown of glory. And Sunday morning is our time to meet together before the Lord.

St John Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran family of churches in The American Church Story. 546 congregations of the Lutheran family gather across Nebraska — 15,919 across the United States on The Church Map.
Lutherans put the gospel back into ordinary hands — Scripture in the language people actually spoke, and hymns the congregation itself was allowed to sing. That the church is saved by grace through faith, and that the whole assembly sings, are now the inheritance of nearly every Protestant church in America.
