Whereas we believe there is a need for a church in this community, and whereas we believe we have found God's Divine guidance, after prayer, and have consulted with fellow Christians and neighboring churches, and has called a council to consider this matter, and the council has recommended that we proceed with the constituting of the new church, be it therefore resolved that we do now enter upon the organization of a new Baptist Church under the direction of the council composed of the new members of the Southern Baptist churches represented here tonight.
