Story is powerful. We each have a story that has shaped us into who we are & who we are becoming. It is also our responsibility to share that story with others, using it as a testimony of God's faithfulness with a chief end of glorifying him. Learn a little bit more about who we are, where we've come from, and the values that ground us as we travel on the Emmaus road.

Emmaus Church is part of the Methodist family of churches in The American Church Story. 151 congregations of the Methodist family gather across Oregon — 25,989 across the United States on The Church Map.
Methodism gave the church the class meeting, the circuit rider, and the Sunday school, and gave America the conviction that grace is genuinely for everyone — carried into prisons, mines, and mill towns by preachers who owned almost nothing. Charles Wesley's hymns are still sung in nearly every tradition, most of them by people who have no idea whose they are.
