Pisgah United Methodist Church was founded in the 1780s by Rev. Thomas Terry, who traveled from Yorkshire, England, to the wilds of South Carolina. Bishop Francis Asbury himself visited this area in 1803, noting his journey to “Thomas Terry’s, near the Fork-Shoals of Reedy-River.”More than two centuries later, we’re still here: gathering, worshiping, serving, and welcoming neighbors. The building has changed. But God hasn’t.Neither has our heart to be His hands and feet in this community.
