Central Church
Central Church is a Baptist church in Knoxville, TN 37918. It is one of 568 churches in Knoxville, and one of 123 Baptist congregations in the city.
We believe God calls us to share Jesus through word and action. We do so by providing a variety of opportunities for worship, Bible study, relationship building, disciple-making, partnerships with various Christian ministries, and hands-on ministry to “the least of these.”
At Central Baptist, we believe that having children in worship is important for the entire church’s spiritual formation.

Central Church is part of the Baptist family of churches in The American Church Story. 3,871 congregations of the Baptist family gather across Tennessee — 71,352 across the United States on The Church Map.
Baptists pressed harder than anyone for religious liberty in America, and the freedom every other congregation on this map enjoys is partly what they won. They have carried believers' baptism and the priesthood of every believer to more of the world than almost anyone — and the Black Baptist church has repeatedly been the conscience of the whole nation.
