It was planted out of Fair Havens Independent Baptist Church, as their Pastor Steve Goforth had a burden to start a church on their property on the south side of Murfreesboro. Since then, the Lord has blessed Bethel Baptist to see many people saved, baptized, and grow in the Lord.
