Iwolerikan is part of the Ecumenical, union and community churches family of churches in The American Church Story. 28 congregations of the Ecumenical, union and community churches family gather across Texas — 373 across the United States on The Church Map.
Union and community churches are the living proof that traditions can share a building, a pastor, and a table. In small towns across America they kept the doors open by becoming one congregation instead of three struggling ones — and no one had to stop being who they were.

The community around Iwolerikan
Within a few blocks of these doors, more than 3 in 10 renting households pay over half of everything they earn just to keep a roof over them. About a third describe their own health as fair or poor, and nearly a quarter of working-age adults live without health insurance. That is 2,300 neighbors — and some of them are already in these pews.
Pray for the families one rent increase away from moving, and for this church to know their names.
