Christ Presbyterian Church

Christ Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian church at 1620 East Common Street in New Braunfels, TX 78130. It is one of 70 churches in New Braunfels, and one of 4 Presbyterian congregations in the city.

Our desire is to proclaim Christ, make disciples, and build up His church through Word, sacrament, prayer, and fellowship (Matt. 28:18–20; Acts 2:42).

Christ Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God through Christ-centered worship, discipleship, and community. We are committed to the ordinary means of grace—God’s Word, the sacraments, and prayer—as the foundation for spiritual growth. We nurture strong families, equip believers to serve with their gifts, care for our covenant children, and proclaim the Gospel locally and globally in obedience to the Great Commission.

Christ Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbyterian family of churches in The American Church Story. 649 congregations of the Presbyterian family gather across Texas — 11,641 across the United States on The Church Map.

Presbyterians gave American Christianity much of its backbone: seminaries, catechisms, and shared government by elders rather than by one man, a habit that shaped the country's civic life as much as its churches. They have been among the most persistent builders of colleges, hospitals, and mission agencies this nation has.
