RCMS 2020 counts non-denominational congregations as a group of their own; it is one of the largest single lines in the census.

The second-largest line in RCMS 2020 by both congregations and adherents (44,319 / 21,095,641), behind SBC on congregations and the Catholic Church on adherents. Also the weakest-provenance number in the study: RCMS normally relies on a denomination reporting its own data, and non-denominational churches have no central office, so ASARB assembled this from outside sources. Grew by roughly 9,000 congregations since 2010.
