New Jerusalem Baptist Church
New Jerusalem Baptist Church is a Baptist church in Harvest, AL 35749. It is one of 24 churches in Harvest, and one of 12 Baptist congregations in the city.
Our church’s goal is to faithfully carry out the Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19-20a and Mark 16:15, which say, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded y
Having been led, as we believe, by the spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God, and this assembly; to solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

Baptists pressed harder than anyone for religious liberty in America, and the freedom every other congregation on this map enjoys is partly what they won. They have carried believers' baptism and the priesthood of every believer to more of the world than almost anyone — and the Black Baptist church has repeatedly been the conscience of the whole nation.
