Desert Cross Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran family of churches in The American Church Story. 194 congregations of the Lutheran family gather across Arizona — 15,919 across the United States on The Church Map.
Lutherans put the gospel back into ordinary hands — Scripture in the language people actually spoke, and hymns the congregation itself was allowed to sing. That the church is saved by grace through faith, and that the whole assembly sings, are now the inheritance of nearly every Protestant church in America.
