本教會於1960年始創於家庭查經班，由于力工牧師協助帶領。1964年正式借用Masonic Temple(共濟堂)聚會， 原名中國基督徒團契，1974年改名為山景城中國基督教會，沿用至今；1996年12月8日遷入現址， 目前中英文部經常性聚會人數約為300人。
