Lakeside Community Chapel was founded in 1954. Known then as Fellowship Baptist Church, the ministry relocated to the High Point Community Hall in 1956. In 1963, it erected its own building on Hercules Avenue in Clearwater, becoming Grace Baptist Church. In 1974, the church relocated to a building on Sunset Point Road in Clearwater, FL, and changed its name to Lakeside Community Chapel. This location continues to serve the community. In 2025, Lakeside expanded its reach with the opening of an extension campus in the Tarpon Springs area.
