First Bible Baptist Church

First Bible Baptist Church is a Baptist church at 555 Central Ave in Lancaster, NY 14086. It is one of 13 churches in Lancaster, and one of 3 Baptist congregations in the city.

We believe the church's primary and all-important business is to tell every person in the world about the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ, to baptize those who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour, and teach them to obey His Word.

We believe the church is a local, visible assembly of saved persons who have been baptized by immersion after their salvation experience.

First Bible Baptist Church is part of the Baptist family of churches in The American Church Story. 1,462 congregations of the Baptist family gather across New York — 71,352 across the United States on The Church Map.

Baptists pressed harder than anyone for religious liberty in America, and the freedom every other congregation on this map enjoys is partly what they won. They have carried believers' baptism and the priesthood of every believer to more of the world than almost anyone — and the Black Baptist church has repeatedly been the conscience of the whole nation.
